Babymaking Timeline (starts at the bottom)

8/10/10 - Healthy baby boy arrives via c/s for breech
3/26 - 19 week anatomy scan - It's a BOY! CPC found. Everything else normal.
2/10 - 12w0d NT scan, everything looks good
1/10 - 7w3d Heartbeat!
12/09 - Cycle #2 - BFP
11/09 - Cycle #1 post molar - BFN
10/09 - HCG is still <2; we're officially TTC again!
07/09 - come to terms with a long wait to TTC again
6/17/09 - HCG <2 and AF finally arrives
4/09-5/09 MTX injections 2, 3, and 4 - one week apart
4/23/09 Beta HCG still elevated and increased from 9 to 15, dx: persistent trophoblastic tissue
4/8/09 - MTX injection #1
4/7/09 - Beta HCG still elevated @ 28, dx: remaining tissue or 2d failed pregnancy
1/25/09 - I married DH!
1/2/09 - @ 11w2d u/s embryo measures 5.5 weeks, no heartbeat, D and C, HCG 53,000
11/15/08 - BFP!
8/08 - Finish last pack of bcp's

2ww - Two week wait - time period between ovulation and pregnancy testing
AF - aunt flo - otherwise known as a period
BBT - basal body temperature - charting temps to determine timing of ovulation, among other things
BCP - birth control pills
BD - babydance ;)
BFN - big fat negative [pregnancy test]
BFP - big fat positive [pregnancy test]
CD - cycle day
CM - cervical mucous
CPC - choroid plexus cyst - cyst in a fetal brain, occurs occasionally in healthy fetuses but also assocated with trisomy 18
D&C - dilation and curettage
DH - dear husband
DPO - days past ovulation
Dr. GO - gynecologic oncologist who's treating me for GTD
Dr. OBG - My OBGYN
Dr. PCP - primary care physician
dx - diagnosis
EWCM - egg white cervical mucous [fertile]
FF - fertility friend - online charting service
GTD - gestational trophoblastic disease
HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - pregnancy hormone
HPT - home pregnancy test
LMP - Last menstrual period
LP - luteal phase - period between ovulation and AF
m/c - miscarriage
MTX - methotrexate - a cancer drug used in the IF world to kill dividing embryonic or placental cells
OPK - ovulation predictor kit
TTC - trying to conceive
u/s - ultrasound
